| Tom Brunelli|
Tom Brunelli relives his early years in Trentino Alto-Adige through his presentations of Italian folk songs and Italian folk tales. Tom was born in New York City, but spent his early years learning to sing the songs of the Alpini from a Franciscan friar who led many local choirs in the valleys of the Italian Dolomites. Today he is a workplace learning consultant in northern Virginia where he and his wife are raising their three adopted children.
Sometime in 1997, Tom stumbled upon a local IFAFA singing group in Philadelphia while on a business trip and performed with them at a local fire house concert in New Jersey. After going to the IFAFA conference in Buffalo that year, he really learned to enjoy the richness of Italian folk arts and the IFAFA mission. He presented a program on Italian folk songs at the IFAFA conference in Philadelphia in 2015 and has since added Italian festival foods to his presentations on Italian folk songs and folk tales.
